Karen Brignac

Director - EHS
Deltech Monomers OpCo, LLC, LA

Karen Brignac is Director – EHS for Deltech Monomers OpCo, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA responsible for all environmental, health, safety and security at facilities in Baton Rouge and Troy, Ohio.

Prior to rejoining Deltech, Karen was a Senior Compliance Expert for PPM Consultants, Inc. Baton Rouge office. PPM is a consulting firm with offices throughout the southeast specializing in permitting, compliance and remediation.

Prior to joining PPM in 2004, Karen was Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at Deltech Corporation for 10 years. She also worked at Georgia Gulf Corporation and Cabot Corporation. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

Karen is a director with the Louisiana Section and has also served as Treasurer, Vice-Chair, Chair, Past Chair and on the Fall Conference Planning Committee. She was also the Technical Program Vice-Chair for the 2016 Annual Conference and Exhibition held in New Orleans. She is currently active on the A&WMA Technical Council as the Chair of the Industry and Nanotechnology Division.
