Sara J. Head, QEP

Sara J. Head, QEP, is an Atmospheric Scientist and Principal Scientist with Yorke Engineering, LLC. Sara has been an environmental consultant for over 45 years. She specializes in environmental permitting and compliance, and has focused on energy and power generation projects, both conventional and renewable, for the last 30 years. She is currently working on 5 projects which are looking to blend hydrogen with natural gas fuel. While at Yorke, she has also gotten involved with several Waste-To-Energy and biogas projects. Sara is the Chair of the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee. She is also a Director of both the West Coast Section and Channel Islands Chapter, an International Association Past President, a Past Chair of Technical Council, and a Fellow Member of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA). She was given the Charles W. Gruber Association Leadership Award in 2020 and became an A&WMA Honorary member in 2022.
