Mr. Mark L Peak is a liscensed Professional Environmental Engineer (LA & TX) with Mitsubishi Power Americas and has broad experience in health, safety and environmental engineering. He has extensive project management, multi-media permitting and compliance experience with all phases of oil & gas operations (upstream, midstream and downstream), power generation, ethanol and LNG facilities and also assisted in the development of environmental programs for Native American tribes in the western US. He has also been actively involved in overseeing health & safety programs for upstream O&G field and drilling operations.
In his current role as Principal Environmental Engineer for Mitsubishi Power Americas, Mr. Peak serves as an internal resource and environmental subject matter expert across the Americas division, assisting in emission evaluations, auditing, environmental due diligence evalulations, environmental regulatory tracking, and supporting the business units with environmental related issues. He is actively involved in the Gas Turbine Association environmental committee, the Green Hydrogen Coalition, and serves as Mitsubishi's representative on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Clean Air Companies (ICAC). He also co-chairs the Hydrogen working group at ICAC.
Mr. Peak is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Chemical Engineering and actively participates in volunteer efforts supporting ongoing STEM development amongst a variety of programs. He is married with two grown daughters and enjoys outdoor activities as much as possible.
