Amal Agharkar

Amal is a Principal Consultant based in ERM’s Chicago office. Amal combines his environmental consulting experience with his background in business management to facilitate smooth delivery of complex projects. Amal has managed projects for a wide spectrum of industrial clients. He has managed numerous permitting projects that require coordination with diverse stakeholders including regulatory agencies, internal staff and client contacts. Amal’s technical experience includes Federal and State air quality permitting and environmental compliance for clients in technology, oil and gas, chemical, manufacturing, and agriculture sector. Amal’s prior experience as an air permit writer at a State environmental agency enables him to advise clients from a strategic as well as a tactical perspective. His experience in climate change services include development of scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG inventories on a product and corporate level by implementing carbon accounting cloud solutions.
