Blue Sky Modeling, MD
Bill Jones is the President and Lead Modeler of Blue Sky Modeling, LLC, and has been in the air quality field since 1991. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Florida State University he began his career as a regulator with the State of Alabama and has served continuously as an environmental consultant to industries and governments in both the United States and abroad since 1993. He has been active in both business management and technical work, with his projects taking him throughout the United States as well as the Middle East and Africa. The main focus of his modeling has been in support of permitting actions, but he has also used modeling to help his clients make strategic business decisions and he has conducted large-scale modeling projects for foreign governments to help them develop control strategies. In addition, he has authored a host of papers, articles, and presentations, he has represented the United States during international environmental trade delegations, he has testified on air quality issues, and has served on both public and private international environmental advisory committees.
