Liz Valsamidis is a Partner based in ERM’s Pittsburgh, PA office and leads the firm's Global Technical Community for Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement. With more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications and public affairs, Liz is skilled at building and managing effective stakeholder outreach and public participation programs. Always looking for innovative ways to support social risk mitigation and encourage two-way dialogue, Liz spearheads the development and implementation of data mining, visualization and virtual engagement tools. She supports diverse and often controversial projects across a variety of sectors and industries; advises clients on corporate environmental justice strategy; facilitates public meetings and advisory groups; manages community liaison programs; and more – all in an effort to support environmental social governance (ESG) initiatives and clients’ efforts to earn and maintain social license to operate.
