Arpita Bhatt, Ph.D.
Dr. Bhatt is an assistant professor of instruction in Civil Engineering Department at University of Texas at Arlington. She has been teaching courses in construction management, environmental, and general civil engineering. Her research interests span sustainable solid waste management (reduction, reuse, recycle), greenhouse gas emission reduction from landfills, renewable energy, and construction sustainability. She has published several journal articles, conference abstracts, and presentations (total 26). She is currently serving as a Co-PI on two funded projects focusing on organic waste diversion and renewable fuel.
